Compliance Manager - Private Sector - BlueTeam

The Compliance Manager will be responsible for sourcing and managing subcontractors and material vendors nationwide. The Compliance Manager will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals, and negotiating more profitable pricing and payment terms.

What youll do....

  • Developing, leading, and executing purchasing strategies
  • Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness of the purchasing function
  • Crafting negotiation strategies and closing deals with optimal terms
  • Managing subcontractor and vendor communication regarding purchases, terms, and payment.

  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
  • Assess, manage and mitigate risks
  • Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
  • Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
  • Work with our operating teams to monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
  • Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies

What youll need...

  • Proven working experience as purchasing manager, agent, or officer
  • Heavy emphasis on vendor sourcing and management
  • Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
  • Knowledgeable regarding subcontractor insurance requirements and risk mitigation
  • A knack for negotiation and networking
  • Working experience of vendor management software
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and present key data
  • Solid judgement along with decision making skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Experience working with construction industry subcontractors and material vendors.
